The majority of students in Jasper County district's were white in the 2021-22 school year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Of the 1,166 students attending Jasper County district schools, 96.2% were white. Hispanic students were the second largest ethnicity, making up 2.2% of Jasper County's districts students.

In the previous school year, white students were the most common group in Jasper County's school district, representing 96.4% of the student body.

In the 2021-22 school year, the total number of students enrolled in public school district in the county dropped 1.2% when compared to the previous year.

There is only one school district within Jasper County, with its head office located in Newton.
