The majority of students in Douglas County district's were white in the 2021-22 school year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Of the 3,281 students attending Douglas County district schools, 82.7% were white. Hispanic students were the second largest ethnicity, making up 13.5% of Douglas County's districts students.

In the previous school year, white students were the most common group in Douglas County districts, representing 83.3% of the student body.
