The majority of students in Clark County district's were white in the 2021-22 school year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Of the 2,372 students attending Clark County district schools, 94.7% were white. Multi-racial students were the second largest ethnicity, making up 1.7% of Clark County's districts students.

In the previous school year, white students were the most common group in Clark County districts, representing 94.9% of the student body.

Casey Westfield Community Unit School District 4C and Marshall Community Unit School District 2C had the most diverse student body in the Clark County, including African American, Hispanic, and white.

In the 2021-22 school year, the total number of students enrolled in public school districts in the county dropped 1.2% when compared to the previous year.
