City Engineer Thoele stated this ordinance authorizes the acquisition of a temporary use permit and the purchase of easement for utility purposes from The Roman Catholic Diocese of Springfield (Sacred Heart Parish) for the sum of $13,180.73.

Public Works Director Heuerman stated this ordinance authorizes the sale of property to Mark E. Mayhood Living Trust to redevelop the conjunction with an adjacent commercial building for the sum of $29,500.

4.5 Resolution No. 073-2023, a Resolution Accepting the Bid and Awarding Contract for the Fayette Avenue Force Main Project - City Engineer Thoele
City Engineer Thoele stated this resolution accepts the lowest responsive bid from B & T Drainage in the amount of $203,571.50 for the Fayette Avenue Force Main Project. Payment for this project will be funded by the Triangle Business District Fund.

Tourism Director Thoele stated this resolution grants permission to allow city streets and parking lots to be closed for the Effingham Jam on July 21, 2023.

6.3 Resolution No. 077-2023, A Resolution Authorizing Execution of Intergovernmental Agreement with the County of Effingham for GIS Services – Public Works Director Heuerman
Public Works Director Heuerman stated this resolution renews an Intergovernmental Agreement with the County of Effingham for GIS services for an additional three-year term at the same cost of $25,000 per year or $75,000 over the life of the agreement.

City Engineer Thoele stated bids for the Evergreen Avenue and Willenborg Street intersection reconstruction project will be accepted on June 13, 2023, at 10:00 a.m.
