Champaign County Consolidated Election Day is one week away, on April 4

Champaign County municipal officials, including mayors, village board members and school board members, are on the ballot on April 4, the first Tuesday in April.

A total of 156 candidates will compete for 59 municipal offices, including 10 contests for city and village, 15 for park, fire and library boards and 33 for school boards.

There are no voter referendums on the April 4 ballot.

In 2021, the last Champaign County Consolidated Election, it had 122,225 registered voters and 16,394 cast ballots, or 13.41 percent.

In the 2019 Champaign County Consolidated Election, it had 128,252 registered voters and 17,266 cast ballots, or 13.46 percent.
