Eastern Illinois jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the second inning and Alexa Rehmeier was in control in the circle as the Panthers wrapped up play at the Bellarmine Tournament with a 10-0 win over Valparaiso for the their fourth straight victory. Rehmeier allowed just four hits during the complete game shutout improving to 3-2 on the season.  She had four strikeouts and allowed just one walk. EIU provided her all the offense she would need in the second inning.  Denaed Santini opened the scoring drawing a bases loaded walk.  

Aryn Henke then delivered a two-run single, one of two hits she would have on the day. EIU extended the lead with a Jaylen Prichard two-run double in the fourth and Briana Gonzalez two-run home run in the fifth. The Panthers added three more in the sixth to secure the run-rule win and improve to 10-9 on the season. Rachel Kaufman led EIU with three hits. Lauren Kehlenbrink had two of the four hits for Valparaiso.  Easton Seib (2-5) suffered the loss in the circle for the Beacons.
