• We've had our second fire drill and first intruder drill this month so far.

Elementary -

• MTSS groups are seeing huge increases in positive behaviors among students that are being provided additional support.

• Teachers are doing a great job of documenting positive and negative behaviors in TeacherEase. This has helped our support through MTSS to identify specific areas of need.

• Students will be going on a field trip to the Southfork Homestead pumpkin patch in Paris for Halloween this year.

Junior High-

• We also have "Too Good for Drugs" presentations coming weekly for junior high students from the HRC in Edgar County as well.

• CAMA and junior high teachers have set up a great week for Red Ribbon Week to be proactive in being drug free. This will take place the week of October 24th.

• Junior high students with no discipline incidents and no Fs will be allowed to go to Lincoln Trail State Park on Friday (21st) for their first quarter reward. This has been a very positive motivator for the students to keep up the good work throughout the quarter.

• Junior Beta is looking to do a dress up contest on Halloween during recess. They would have to follow the dress code and students will agree to change out of the costume when it is over. Junior Beta will be providing candy bars to those that participate.
