Illinois state Rep. Blaine Wilhour (R-Effingham) is at it again, using his Facebook account to criticize the leadership of the Democratic Party.
“Inflation is a TAX INCREASE-especially on working-class folks,” Wilhour said in a Wednesday Facebook post. “This is brought to you by policies from JB Pritzker, Joe Biden and the Democrat party.”
Wilhour ran unopposed in the June election for the Republican nomination to represent District 110.
In the days leading up to the election, he became very vocal on social media endorsing Sen. Darren Bailey for governor of Illinois. Wilhour vowed that conservatives would no longer compromise their values.
“We are done with that,” he said on Facebook, quoted by the South Central Reporter. “All it’s gotten us is higher taxes, lower wages, and less opportunity. The people are standing up to send the political elites in both parties packing.”
Wilhour also praised the parents who spoke out against what they don't want their children to learn.
"God bless the parents who have risen up to defend the rights and best interests of their kids,” he posted before the primary, quoted by the East Central Reporter. “Let's send a message in the June 28th primary! Any candidate that did not actively stand up and stand out - vote them out.”
