City of Noble City Council met May 23.

Here is the agenda provided by the council:

OPEN MEETING all comments will be published in the Olney HomeTown Register

6. INFORMATIONAL

Turn in projects for new fiscal year budgeting

Village Hall will be closed Monday, May 30 for Memorial Day

Bid opening for oil & chip program scheduled for June 1 at 10AM at the Village Hall

Book Barn is in process of being built and will be placed on Village Hall building

Areas in Codebook are needing reviewed…

EPA advising against the fence being moved closer to the water tower. If moved 20ft it would be 5ft from the leg of the water tower

Early voting at Noble Lions Club on May 31 from 4:30–6p.m.

7. OLD BUSINESS

Discuss/take action re: replacing old tennis court/volleyball court with a parking lot

8. NEW BUSINESS

Discuss/approve labor/materials/funds to the Noble Foods for work & rock behind store

Discuss/approve action re: properties needing mowed
