Arcola City Council met Feb. 22.
Here are the minutes provided by the council:
Mayor Garza called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Due to COVID 19 the meeting was held at the Arcola Center. Members present were Alderpersons Budd, Foran, Hensley, Smith, Garza and Becerra. City Administrator Wagoner was also present. Treasurer Anderson and Attorney Bequette were not present.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Alderman Budd led the council and audience in the Pledge of Allegiance.
PUBLIC COMMENT There was none.
APPROVAL OF FEBRUARY 07, 2022 COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES Alderman Foran moved to approve the February 07, 2022 council meeting minutes as presented and was seconded by Alderman Garza. Roll call vote, all ayes. Motion carried.
APPROVAL OF FEBRUARY 05, 2022 THROUGH FEBRUARY 18, 2022 BILLS Alderman Hensley moved to approve the February 05, 2022 – February 18, 2022 bills and was seconded by Alderman Budd. Roll call vote, all ayes. Motion carried.
CONSIDER AND APPROVE AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO ENGINEERING AGREEMENT WITH DONOHUE – JOINT AGENCY WATER MAIN PROJECT Alderman Foran moved to approve Amendment No. 1 to Engineering Agreement with Donohue – Joint Agency Water Main Project. Alderman Smith seconded the motion. Roll call vote, all ayes. Motion carried.
CONSIDER AND APPROVE BID FOR JOINT WATER AGENCY WATER MAIN CONSTRUCTION PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR, CLERK AND TREASURER TO EXECUTE DOCUMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE JOINT WATER AGENCY -- $821,000 B & T CONSTRUCTION Alderman Foran moved to approve Bid for Joint Water Agency Water Main Construction Project and authorize the Mayor, Clerk and Treasurer to execute documents on behalf of the Joint Water Agency in amount of $821,000 to B & T Construction. Alderman Becerra seconded the motion. Roll call vote, all ayes. Motion carried.

Alderman Budd Had nothing at this time.
Alderman Foran Reported the Park, Street & Alley Committee met prior to this meeting and listened to the presentation by 4 Most Sport Group on the Moore Park Softball
and Baseball Fields –with the Arcola CUSD.
Alderman Hensley Had nothing at this time.
Alderman Smith Had nothing at this time.
Alderman Garza Had nothing at this time.
Alderman Becerra Had nothing at this time.
As this concluded the business of the meeting, Alderman Hensley moved to adjourn and was seconded by Alderman Becerra. Roll call vote, all ayes. Motion carried.
