February 2022: Home prices in Charleston fell

The median sale price of a home sold in February 2022 in Charleston fell by $32,750 while total sales increased by 29.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In February 2022, there were 22 homes sold, with a median sale price of $87,750 - a 27.2% decrease over the $120,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 17 homes sold in Charleston in February 2021.

The median sales tax in Charleston for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $2,130, approximately 2.4% of the median home sale price for February 2022.
