Report: Hutsonville School District spent $11,494 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Hutsonville Community Unit School District 1 was up 10.9 percent from five years ago, according to the East Central Reporter analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Crawford County school district spent $10,361 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $11,494 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 328 to 306 students over the same period.

Hutsonville's spending in 2019-20 was 20.7 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
