Report: Red Hill School District spent $8,524 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Red Hill Community Unit School District 10 was up 6.8 percent from five years ago, according to the East Central Reporter analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Lawrence County school district spent $7,985 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $8,524 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 1,053 to 981 students over the same period.

Red Hill's spending in 2019-20 was 41.2 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
