Q4 2020 Recap: 1 parolee from Douglas County convicted of crimes against justice set for release

There was one offender convicted of a crime against justice released on parole in Douglas County during the fourth quarter of 2020, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the East Central Reporter.

The data shows that the released offender was a man. He was convicted in 2016 when he was 27 years old. He is now 32.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The following table shows how many offenders convicted of crimes against justice were paroled during the fourth quarter of 2020 in each Illinois county.
