City of Mattoon issued the following announcement on Mar. 5.
Gardenfest, formerly known as Herbfest, is May 15th at Lytle Park.
And is the kick off to the gardening season in Mattoon. And we want you to be a vendor.
• Vendors may sell anything related to gardening. Examples: Fresh Herbs, everlasting plants and scented geraniums, herb related décor antiques collectibles, crafts, decorating accessories and much more.
• Setup time from is from 8-9am, be ready to sell at 9am.
• Event will occur rain or shine.
• Fee is $50 for a 10x 10 space located at Lytle Park, 3298 Cedar Avenue in Mattoon.
If you would like an application you can pick one up in the brochure rack in the Depot next to the elevator on the east side of the street level, or an application can be emailed or mailed to you. Contact tourism@mattoonillinois.org or call 217-258-6286.
