North Clay Fire Protection District responded to 30 calls in 2018 - 14.3 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in North Clay included 28 fires - 10 structure fires, three vehicle fires and 15 other fires.

In all, the department saw $143,900 in fire loss - or about $5,139 per fire.

The department also received two false calls.

The North Clay Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $42,596 in 2017.
