Seven Hickory-Morgan Fire Protection District responded to six calls in 2018 - 20 percent more than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Seven Hickory-Morgan included six fires - three structure fires and three other fires.

In all, the department saw $170,000 in fire loss - or about $28,333 per fire.

The Seven Hickory-Morgan Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $42,736 in 2018.
