O'Blong Fire Protection District responded to 25 calls in 2018 - 19.4 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Oblong included 21 fires - 10 structure fires and 11 other fires. The fire department also responded to one call for ruptures, explosions or overheating.

In all, the department saw $78,700 in fire loss - or about $3,748 per fire.

The department also received three false calls.

One fire service member was injured in fire-related incidents.

The O'Blong Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $126,268 in 2018.
