Edgewood Bi-County Fire Protection District responded to 15 calls in 2018 - 16.7 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Edgewood Bi-County included 13 fires - two structure fires, four vehicle fires and seven other fires.

In all, the department saw $70,000 in fire loss - or about $5,385 per fire.

The department also received two false calls.

The Edgewood Bi-County Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $54,300 in 2018.
