City of Mattoon issued the following announcement on July 17.
Covid-19 may have caused the cancellation of the annual Bagelfest, but the Bagelfest Breakfast must go on. This time with a twist. Drive thru Peterson Park this Saturday July 18th, enter from Broadway by Grimes Field and pick up your bagel and bottled water for free at the Demars Center. We look forward to seeing you.
