Casey Westfield Community Unit School District 4C Board of Education met June 15.
Here is the agenda provided by the board
I. The Casey-Westfield Board of Education met in special session at 5:30 P.M. on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at the Unit Office, 502 E Delaware, Casey, IL and via zoom meeting. Upon roll call, members present were Gelb, Hickox, Huisinga, Hutton, Navel, Overbeck and Perie. Administrators present were Dee Scott, Linda Campbell, Kacie Rhoads and Jim Sullivan. President Overbeck appointed Joe Hickox as Secretary pro tem.
II. President Overbeck recognized visitor Jon Julius.
III. Act upon approval to adjourn to closed session under c1 (employment) of section 5 ILCS 120/1 et seq. of the Illinois Open Meetings Act at 5:33 p.m.
Motion by Huisinga and seconded by Hickox. Upon roll call, members voting yea were Gelb, Hickox, Huisinga, Hutton, Navel, Overbeck and Perie. The President declared the motion carried.
IV. Act upon approval to reconvene to regular session at 6:06 p.m.
Motion by Gelb and seconded by Huisinga. Upon roll call, members voting yea were Gelb, Hickox, Huisinga, Hutton, Navel, Overbeck and Perie. The President declared the motion carried.
V. Act upon approval to employ Jessica Daugherty as Head Volleyball Coach for the 2020-2021 school year.
Motion by Hutton and seconded by Gelb. Upon roll call, members voting yea were Gelb, Hickox, Huisinga, Hutton, Navel, Overbeck and Perie. The President declared the motion carried.
