Analysis: Flora pays $3.66 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Flora Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 78.6 percent of the $341,402 the Flora Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $3.66 for every $1 from pension members, according to a East Central Reporter analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Flora contributed $268,253 to the fund, which saw a $8,028 decrease in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $73,149, or 21.4 percent, in 2018.
