Analysis: Lawrenceville pays $4.34 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Lawrenceville Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 81.3 percent of the $184,805 the Lawrenceville Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $4.34 for every $1 from pension members, according to a East Central Reporter analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Lawrenceville contributed $150,253 to the fund, which saw a $16,318 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $34,552, or 18.7 percent, in 2018.
