Analysis: Paris pays $3.92 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Paris Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 79.7 percent of the $466,529 the Paris Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $3.92 for every $1 from pension members, according to a East Central Reporter analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Paris contributed $371,804 to the fund, which saw a $34,346 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $94,725, or 20.3 percent, in 2018.
