Analysis: Robinson pays $4.57 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Robinson FPD Firefighters Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 82 percent of the $227,422 the Robinson FPD Firefighters Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $4.57 for every $1 from pension members, according to a East Central Reporter analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Robinson contributed $186,561 to the fund, which saw a $12,407 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $40,789, or 17.9 percent, in 2018. Another $72 came from other unspecified sources.
