Analysis: Robinson pays $3.39 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Robinson Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 77.2 percent of the $361,960 the Robinson Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $3.39 for every $1 from pension members, according to a East Central Reporter analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Robinson contributed $279,585 to the fund, which saw a $3,692 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $82,268, or 22.7 percent, in 2018. Another $107 came from other unspecified sources.
