City of Mattoon issued the following announcement on June 11.
The City of Mattoon and Kinney Contractors will be starting construction on Marshall Avenue from 14th Street to 17th Street on Monday, June 15.
The project includes; new storm sewers, concrete pavement, driveways, and sidewalk repairs. Marshall Avenue will be closed from 14th Street to 17th Street during construction. The work is scheduled for completion on October 31.
