City of Effingham issued the following announcement on May 30.
City Hall was professionally disinfected by E-Enviro, and the City Hall building and all is now open to the public.
The City Hall employees have been working from home since March 20, only returning to City Hall when required.
We continue to encourage the general public to call to schedule meetings with staff; however, the Utility Billing and Building Official offices are open to the public.
While in the building, the City encourages the general public to wear face masks for everyone's protection.
