City of Marshall issued the following announcement on May 14.
On May 8, 2020, the Clark County Board approved a resolution containing a plan for reopening businesses and churches that differed from the plan established by the Governor of Illinois. On May 11, 2020, the City council of Marshall approved a resolution to support the County Board Plan. Neither the County Board of the City of Council of Marshall has the authority to overrule orders of the Governor.
