Q2 2019 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in zip code 61912?

There was one offender released on parole during 2019 that lives in Ashmore zip code 61912, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by East Central Reporter.

The data shows that the released offender was Shane D. Hughes. He was convicted of a property crime in 2017, when he was 25. He is now 28.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
