City of Marshall City Council met March 9.
Here is the minutes provided by the council:
The regular meeting of the City Council was called to order at 6:30 P.M., with Mayor John Trefz presiding. Upon roll call, all council members were present.
Green made a motion, seconded by LeFever, to approve the minutes of the previous meeting as written. Upon roll call, all council members voted for. Motion carried.
Public Comment: LeFever informed the council that the mailings will start soon for the Census. He also email everyone with a Q&A booklet from the Census Department to help with any questions that residents may have.
New Business: None
LeFever made a motion, seconded by Sanders, to adopt ORDINANCE NO. 2020-O-03, an Ordinance to Add Territory and New Unit of Government to the Clark County Enterprise Zone. Upon roll call, all council members voted for. Motion carried.
Green made a motion, seconded by LeFever, to approve the Eleventh Agreement to Amend the Clark County Enterprise Zone Intergovernmental Agreement. Upon roll call, all council members voted for. Motion carried.
Wallace made a motion, seconded by Tharp, to accept the quote from Double Bee Fence Co. in the amount of $14,200.00. Upon roll call, all council members voted for. Motion carried.
LeFever made a motion, seconded by Wallace to pay the bills in the amount of $147,044.44. Upon roll call, all members voted for. Motion carried.
LeFever made a motion, seconded by Sanders to adjourn. Upon roll call, all council members present voted for. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 6:45 P.M.
