City of Newman issued the following announcement on Feb. 25.
The City of Newman Recreation Department will be accepting registration forms for the new Co-Ed West Side Flag Football League beginning March 2, 2020 and ending March 31, 2020.
This is a new Co-Ed Flag Football League; games will be played on weekday evenings in both Newman and Gustine. Teams will play an eight (8) game season and typically play twice a week. Practices will begin in May. The program is deigned to teach football fundamentals, teambuilding and sportsmanship. Players will receive a Shirt, Flags and Mouth Guard.
Open to Boys and Girls Ages 7 to 14 (Ages as of June 1st of the current year and if 14 must be in 8th grade)
Registration Fee: $65.00*
Must bring Birth Certificates for all players at time of Registration
