Oakland home prices rise in the first quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2019 in Oakland rose by $83,000 while total sales remained unchanged with three homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2019, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $105,000 - a 377.3% increase over the $22,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Oakland in the first quarter of 2018, as well.

The median sales tax in Oakland for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $1,456, approximately 1.4% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2019.
