There was one offender released on parole during the fourth quarter living near Illinois zip code 62824, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by East Central Reporter.

The data shows that the man was released in the Vandalia zip code. The 30-year-old parolee wasn't a veteran.

He was sentenced to 4 years in prison for a financial crime or fraud in 2018 when he was 29 years old.
