Q3 2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Jasper County?

There were two offenders released on parole during that live in Jasper County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by East Central Reporter.

The data shows that man and woman were released in Jasper County. The younger parolee was a 26-year-old woman sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2017. The other was a 44-year-old man sentenced for a crime against a person in 2016.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Max A. Utley. He was convicted of a crime against a person in 2016 when he was 41 years old. He is now 44.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the third quarter in each Jasper County municipality.
