The data shows that four men and two women were released in Villa Grove. The median age of the parolees was 32. The youngest parolee was a 27-year-old woman sentenced for a property crime in 2017, and the oldest was a 44-year-old man sentenced for a financial crime or fraud in 2017.
The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Jonathon M. Smith. He was convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2015 when he was 26 years old. He is now 30.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
