APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

1) *MINUTES: Regular City Council Meeting for May 21, 2019.

AUDITING CLAIMS:

2) *PAYROLL: Regular Pay Period for May 25, 2019.

3) *BILLS PAYABLE: June 7, 2019.

ACTION ITEMS:

4) *RAFFLE LICENSE: IAFF Charleston Firefighters Local 3200 at 4:00 p.m. on July 31, 2019, to raise funds for Local 3200.

5) *RAFFLE LICENSE: Charleston Elks Lodge #623 to raise funds for Elks Charities including helping disabled Children and Veterans on Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. at 720 6th Street.

6) RESOLUTION: Authorizing the Temporary Closure of certain streets on July 4, 2019, to facilitate the Annual "Four on the Fourth: Four-Mile Foot Race" sponsored by Habitat for Humanity.

7) RESOLUTION: Authorizing Various Street Closures for the 4th of July Parade and Related Festivities.

8) RESOLUTION: Approving the Closure of Certain Streets for the First Christian Church Community Block Party on Saturday, August 17, 2019, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

9) RESOLUTION: Authorizing Emergency Purchase of New Ozone Chiller at Water Treatment Plant.

10) RESOLUTION: BID AWARD: Street Materials for MFT Section 19-00000-00-GM for FY 19/20.

11) RESOLUTION: Approving Power Purchase Agreement for Solar Energy Supply at the Waterwater Treatment Plant Main Pump Station and the Water Treatment Plant.

12) ORDINANCE: Providing for Sensible Rehabilitation within the Tax Increment Financing (TIF) District for Mike Day d/b/a Mike and Stan's 504 Club Inc., located at 504 Monroe Avenue.

13) ORDINANCE: Providing for Sensible Rehabilitation within the Tax Increment Financing (TIF) District for Richard Sayer and Chris Prefontaine d/b/a 601-605 MAC, LLC, located at 601, 603 & 605 Monroe Avenue.

This portion of the City Council meeting is reserved for anyone wishing to address Council. The Illinois Open Meetings Act (5 ILCS 120/1) mandates NO action shall be taken on matters not listed on this agenda and Council is not required to take any action or discuss the matter further. Typically, however, the Mayor and Council may direct staff to further investigate the matter or suggest that the matter be brought forward for action on a subsequent agenda. The Open Meetings Act allows the Council to pass rules concerning the manner of public comment, and our Council has adopted rules for that purpose. Copies of the rules may be found at the Clerk’s office. We request that you sign up with the Clerk ahead of time and provide the City Clerk with your name & address before speaking in order to assist us with the orderly conduct of the Public Comment portion of the meeting; however, neither signing up nor giving your name and address is a mandatory prerequisite for you to address the Council. Please speak into the microphone; limit presentation to 3 minutes; and avoid repetitious comments. Thank you.
