Get ready to read, because “It’s Showtime At Your Library!” We have all kinds
of fun events planned this year including magic, games, crafts, nature, and of
course reading! We’re also excited to announce that this year’s winner will
receive their very own action camera to capture their exciting life events! The
fun begins Tuesday, June 18th at 5pm and will continue at the same time every
Tuesday and Thursday ending with a presentation by the Douglas-Hart Nature
Center on Tuesday, July 2nd. Some of you may also be excited to hear that a
familiar face will be returning as well. Magician Daniel Lusk will be
performing on Thursday, June 20th at 5pm. Mr. Lusk has appeared during our
Summer Reading Program for a few years now and his performances are sure to
get people of all ages laughing and thinking about reading! We can’t wait to see
you here at the Martinsville Public Library!
