City of Martinsville issued the following announcement on May 21.
The Barnyard Scramble is being moved to Friday night
this year at the Fair. Along with the change of day, we
also have a new and improved registration process. Go to
Martinsvilleagfair.com to register on-line. If you do not
have access to the online registration process, you can
still register in the Secretary’s Office. ALL entries still
must be completed by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, June 14 (day
of the event)-no exceptions! Name tags for participants
registered on line will be distributed on the stage prior to
the Scramble, so plan accordingly. All children scrambling
for a pig or goat MUST have a name tag to participate.
