City of Effingham issued the following announcement on May 15.
Congratulations to Jeremy Heuerman who was appointed to the position of Director of Public Works and to Jason McFarland who was appointed to the position of Chief of Police at a Special Council Meeting on May 13.
Following Council approval, both gentlemen took their Oath of Office and began their duties immediately.
