Oakland home prices rise in June 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in June 2017 in Oakland rose by $43,500 while total sales increased by 350%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In June 2017, there were nine homes sold, with a median sale price of $117,000 - a 59.2% increase over the $73,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Oakland in June 2016.

The median sales tax in Oakland for 2017 was $1,489.26. In 2016, the median sales tax was $1,625.90. This marks an decrease of 8.4%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.3%.
