The price of local government in 2016: Village of Hume

The Village of Hume budget was $175,508 for its 2016 fiscal year, or $964 per household.

That's a decrease of 3.7 percent from 2015, when the village spent $182,267, or $1,001 per household.

Hume has 182 households and a population of 380.

Since 2001, the Village of Hume budget has grown by 94.2 percent, from $90,355. The village population has fallen 6.4 percent over the same period, from 406.
