City of Mattoon issued the following announcement on March 11.
Formerly known as “Herbfest,” the kick off to the gardening season in Mattoon is again at Lytle Park in Mattoon on May 11, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
Vendor Information
Individuals and businesses are invited to participate in Gardenfest as vendors.
• Vendors may sell anything related to gardening. Examples: Fresh Herbs, everlasting plants and scented geraniums, herb related décor antiques collectibles, crafts, decorating accessories and much more.
• Setup time from is from 8:00-9:00 am, and must be ready to sell at 9:00 a.m.
• Event will occur rain or shine.
• Fee is $50 for a 10x 10 space located at Lytle Park, 3298 Cedar Avenue in Mattoon.
• Please remove trash and clean up your area at the end of the day.
• Non-refundable set-up fee must accompany an application (link below).
• Exhibitors will receive confirmation after receipt of fee and contract.
