City of Effingham issued the following announcement on Feb. 25.
"Continental Mills is a hidden gem in Effingham - and that's how they like it. They are dealing with some very high profile, high volume food clients that require the strictest quality and consistency protocol,” stated Mayor Jeff Bloemker. “The $12 million they have spent on equipment and technology over the past five years has put them in a leadership position in their national manufacturing system. We're glad they chose Effingham and we thank them for their continued investment!"
