City of Olney issued the following announcement on Feb. 15.
The City of Olney Street Department is accepting applications for one full time maintenance position. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, concrete work, snow removal, street repairs, tree trimming & removal, storm sewer maintenance, operation of equipment, assisting other City departments when needed, and willingness to respond to after hour call outs and emergencies. CDL required within 8 weeks of employment.
Applications available at City Hall, 300 S. Whittle Ave., Olney, IL from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Mon.-Fri. Applications accepted until March 1, 2019.
