Administrators in Arcola Community Unified School District 306 earn an average of $108,367 per year, ranking 257th out of 864 districts in the state, according to a East Central Reporter analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card.

The 2018 average is 24.6% higher than in 2014 and 39.5% higher than in 2009. District administrators make 1% more than the state average of $107,279.

Administrator salaries depend on the district's size, location and resources, as well as the individual's level of experience and education, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

The Douglas County school district enrolled 716 students in 2017-18. There is an average of 179 students for every administrator, compared to a statewide ratio of 181 to 1.
