City of Marshall issued the following announcement on Jan. 31.
The power is out in certain areas of Marshall. City Of Marshall Utilities are switching equipment back over to permanent lines. They estimate having everything restored by 8pm if no unforeseen problems. Please DO NOT CALL 911 unless you have an EMERGENCY! The emergency lines are clogging with non-emergency calls. If you have an emergency, related to the power outage or not please continue to call 911. DO NOT CALL 911 FOR NON-EMERGENCY calls. We appreciate your patience! Emergency and non-emergency protocols are prioritized differently.
