Report: Red Hill spent $8,642 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Red Hill Community Unit School District 10 is up 0.9 percent from five years ago, according to a East Central Reporter analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Lawrence County school district spent $8,567 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $8,642 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 1064 to 968.

Red Hill's spending in 2017-18 was 35.2 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
