Report: Hutsonville spent $10,118 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Hutsonville Community Unit School District 1 is down 5.3 percent from five years ago, according to a East Central Reporter analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Crawford County school district spent $10,687 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $10,118 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 369 to 346.

Hutsonville's spending in 2017-18 was 24.1 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
