City of Martinsville issued the following announcement on Jan. 10.
What? No School on Presidents Day, February 18th? Discover the fun of STEM through hands-on
activities for the whole family. The library will provide everything needed. Bring the family or
send the kids to the library for some fun! We will have the room downstairs open from 2:00 - 4:30
pm for some stem activities. Come during that time period for some hands on learning. Depending
on the children activities should take about 30 minutes total. This program is open for all students
ages 5-12. We would love for you to RSVP for this event so we can be sure to have enough material
for all attendees. Call the library at 217-382-4113 to save a spot for your student today.
